What's Happening at the Sewing Machine

Blue Children at Play Silhouette with Off White Dot Minky and Plush Fleece back (ohhhhh so soft) and comes with Pillow Case for small travel pillow.

For a little bit older child this is a Black Polka Dot Ruffles with Stripe White Minky back and Small Pillow

Pastels & More Pastels Polka Dots. This blanket is made with the super soft plush minky and a cotton polka dot back.

This diaper bag is made with quilted satin and lined with "Juicy Couture" material. This is not a Juicy Couture original diaper bag but it is a JustIn Time Creations original, only the lining has the Juicy logo stuff. It has two large pockets on the inside and to date the matching blanket is still a work in progress.

There are other things but because they are gifts, they will be posted sometime in February =)

Last Week Was Crazy

Last week was a really busy week. I took on more projects than I should have but I got them all done (ok, sorry Kellie, no snaps on the indian princess dress) and delivered on time. There were the 3 promised Princess dresses for the granddaughter's 3rd birthday, then she wanted a "PINK" dress cuz it's her favorite color and also a balerina tutu. I posted her tutu and her apron last week when I finished them. There was also the baby quilt/blanket with the diaper bag that I also posted pics of. I also decided to add a second dress with butterflies and hair clippies to match

Here are pics of the rest of the projects ~~~

A Helping Hand

I was recently contacted by a Grandma who had purchased material from a quilt she had seen on display at Tall Mouse craft store to make her grandson a blanket and diaper bag. She had seen my JustIn Time Creations Blankets posted on Craigslist.org and contacted me with a request for help in putting it all together. It was a little more involved than what I usually make and as for the diaper bag, I had never done one before. With all the other projects I have going on and budgeted time I set out to get this done. I took a picture (picture #1) of the one on display to use as a guide and this is my finished blanket, diaper bag, and I even did the little travel pillowcase.

So Little Time...

I need more hours in my days!!!!! There are so many things I have to do, I need to do, I wanna do and all I need is a few more hours added to my days...hehe

OK, so this week I was able to complete the following:

This one was for a friend who saw one I made for another friend.

This little apron is for the Granddaughter Princess who has a birthday later this month.

The granddaughter's favorite color is Pink and she fell in love with Tutu's so let's add this to her gifts. She also let me know she wanted a pink dress. I don't have one made yet but as soon as I do, I will post a pic.

This is a work in progress. There are still 3 Disney Princess dresses I need to get done for the Granddaughter Princess. These will be added to the 6 I made her for Christmas for her dress up box. Yep, I spoil her only because I had 2 boys. Having her has been the GREATEST BLESSING, she makes me laugh so much. I love my boys and my daughter in law, but this is so totally different.

This last one was a gift I made for Christmas and did not post it so as not to spoil the surprise - so here it is. The squares with the writing were from guest at my daughter in law's bridal shower (ok so it took me 8 yrs to finally put this together. They are 9 inch squares and all the girls at the shower wrote a sentiment. I used the Minky Soft Swirl in black for the back side and found embroidered hankies which also worked well for the other squares. Kellie, may you enjoy this forever!!
