Inspired - Made with Thrift Store Find Pillowcases

I was inspired by a beautiful quilt made by http://anyonecanquilt.typepad.com I am using thrift store find pillowcases and some other pieces from my stash. I love the way hers came out and hope my comes out just as nice. Not going to make it as big (5 rows x 7 rows of 10 inch squares and I will add a border at the top) as I will be stippling the heck out of it on my poor old machine. So feminine and somewhat shabby chic.

"Vintage Planes" Finished

What a cute little boys quilt with pillow. This has the vintage planes and I love the colors. Ok - what little boy dosen't like planes?. I did the stippling all over and really liked the way it turned out with the yellow binding.

"Sassy" Pinks and Chocolates

The "Sassy" quilt in browns and pinks is finished. I love these colors together. For this quilt I used a small charm pack and small jelly roll from Joann Fabrics. The back side is pink with white polka dots and the binding white with pink polka dots. This one measures 39in x 51in.

A WONDERFUL FIND!!!

Not too long ago on one of my "Thrift Store Outings" I came upon this awesome find. It was a bit more than what I wanted to spend for the day but quickly realized (DUH!!!!) ok - this is handmade - it's a no-brainer =)

A beautiful handmade queen size quilt and yes it did have a label on the back
